What is love? Artists and scientists alike have tried to define what love is, yet they always fall short of encapsulating this enigmatic force in any one definition. For me, I’ve found that no one else could really define what love is, I learnt about love over the years through experiencing the joys of it, grappling with its darker side and spending time truly understanding and trying to figure out what it meant to me. I was trying to understand how, even though it is a universal feeling, love becomes what we choose to make of it. Love is a feeling so palpable that it not only affects the individual, but it also affects their interaction with others and their interaction with the society that surrounds them.
Throughout the month of February, I have the honour of celebrating and sharing my thoughts on love, something which I have only ever done before on my album, Dopamine. I will delve into some of love’s many faces and share my thoughts on how I believe one cannot come into contact with love without changing for the better somehow. Our experiences with love may not always go as planned, we may get hurt in the process, but love will always teach us how strong, beautiful and resilient the human spirit really is. Join the conversation and share your thoughts with us this month where it’s all about the power of love, and how one single emotion has the ability to impact us in such a great way.
Yours in love,
